Day market
DIEM is daily inference capacity: $1 of inference per UTC day. Unused capacity expires at 00:00 UTC. Suppliers who neither use nor sell it before midnight lose it.
PZERO clears that perishable inventory through posted offers. In v1 there is one market epoch aligned to the UTC reset: post during the day, the router clears as requests arrive, capacity re-syncs at midnight and stale offers drop.
Some capacity expires unsold rather than clearing below the floor. That breakage is accepted — a sustainable floor matters more than forcing every last cent through.
